Pistol Series
Tactical Pistol One
Course Committment: The purpose of this course is to help the student establish a warrior midset and fundamental skills that will allow the student to prevail in a violent encounter. Using core principals, speed will be built, reaction time shortened and accuracy increased. Students who successfully complete the course will be more confident in their physical and mental preparation for the protection of life and property as well being ready to move on to more advanced training with the remainder of the Tactical Pistol series.
Methodology: Through increasing levels of difficulty, over multiple repetitions, the student will fire approximatley 500 rounds per day of training establishing confidence and muscle memory. At times, stress will be induced for the student to evaluate his/her proximate reaction in real life. While we won't be fast roping from Blackhawks, you will find this training to be challenging. Whatever your best is, we intend to find it and advance it regardless of your level as a shooter. For the unitiated, this course will reseult in a paradigm shift reagarding the student's approach to combat and the warrior mindset. While we think that the student whould enjoy training, therefore getting more out of it and doing more of it, the bottom line is that gunfights in the real world are stressful and if we do not emulate some of that stress in training we will not be prepared when the need arises.
TP1 Students await to call to turn and address targets.

It is advised that you come to this class with a high level of proficiency of all elements taught in TP1.
This is a pass/fail course.
Prerequisites Required
One of the following courses must have been satisfactorily completed.
Tactical Pistol I
Church Protective Services
Fighting Pistol I
Any of these will suffice but there is no real substitute for TP1.
