Sure we train pros and they travel in from all over, but we opened ManAloneTactical specifically to make what we do available to the folks of the lowcountry. So we do train novices, we just do it better. We train you for the armed encounter, not just for the certification. When there is an armed encounter your life is on the line. Of course you say, that is obvious. Why is it then that so many people get cut rate inferior instruction in order to get their CWP? Time and again the phone rings with a student that has taken the course elsewhere and is properly credentialed but realizes they are not prepared to carry a weapon, much less use it in self defense. Do not let this happen to you. To meet South Carolina law you are going to have to invest not just your money but a day of your time as well. Why not make the most of your investment with the best instruction your money can buy? We do not just teach you to pass the course, we help you put in place fundamental skills and a mindset to assist you in dominating in a life threatening encounter. There are some discounted CWP instruction firms around, and they charge less because they are offering less. There is more to this than qualifying for the credential regardless of what they try to sell you. We train for success in the gunfight, not just scoring 70% on the qualification round. In fact, we won't pass you at 70%. You will reshoot. Fortunately, we are more than capable to make sure that you have the tools to do better.
Our CWP Training day starts in the classroom. We do not have a state of the art electronic classroom, we have a nuts and bolts classroom in which the SLED licensed instructor reads your level of understanding and guides you with insights and scenarios to lead you to a fuller understanding of the legal aspect of gun ownership and use as well as the complexities of the self defense laws. We cover the law on concealed carry and the use of lethal force. Safety is briefed and stressed throughout.
The afternoon is spent on the range. SLED requires a fifty round qualification test. At ManAloneTactical we up that. Each student in our program shoots one hundred and fifty rounds. We start with dry fire and build up to a practice test, noting and concentrating on where folks are having difficulties. We then shoot the qual. If everyone passes we take it to the next level and have a shoot on reactive steel. Unlike paper, the steel targets give instant hit information accompanied by a persuasive 'ding'. It is the part of the day that folks seem to enjoy most. When the day is over, we have course offerings to take you as far in your training as you want to go. From Advanced Concealed Carry through our Tactical Pistol Series and into Tactical Rifle. Shouldn't your training begin with the most competent, best trained and experienced instructors teaching the best program available? We start at the beginning, get everyone on the same page and take you further than any other CWP program. We go to extra trouble and extra expense because we think your life is worth it. Don't you?
