Due to popular demand for our professional instruction oriented to an entry level shooter we are initiating on a trial basis a one day basic AR-15 course. This is not our two day tactical carbine level one course cut in half. This is a basic familiarization and use course. For you folks who have wanted a course more welcoming for husbands and wives or teens and parents, here it is. The training day will convene at 9:00 on the range and continue to approximately 4:00 pm. You will need your rifle and associated gear along with 350 rounds of ammo.
Course objective: The purpose of this course is to give the student an overview of the operation, use and safe handling of the AR-15 family of weapons. Students will work at a slower pace and less pressures than our tactical series. This course will prepare the student for moving on to Tactical Carbine One, but it is not required. Our Tactical Carbine courses move quickly. If you have any doubt as to your abiity to do well in that series ask us or take this course. We build fundamentals in this course and we are finding more and more fundamentals are missing for most students we see. By building these basics you are better prepared to move on to mastering fighting skills.
